Lion El'Jonson, being the Primarch of their primogenitor chapter, is revered by the members of the chapter almost as much as the holy emperor himself.

As is with the Dark Angels, the Angels of Destruction believe they can only accomplish utter salvation by finding and destroying all of the Fallen Angels. To gain information about any whereabouts of Fallen Angels, they would go to almost any extent.

Due to its nature, the reverence of the plasma spirit is unknown in any other chapter. The Plasma Spirit is to some extent treated in the same way as the Emperor. A third of the prayers on a normal day are dedicated to the holy Emperor, a third to the Lion and the other third to the Plasma Spirit. In battle, this may become even one half of all prayer on one day. This is a very well kept secret within the chapter as this could easily be a reason to be proclaimed excommunicate. Therefore, strangers to the chapter are shunned and sometimes even regarded with hostility.

As with all the Unforgiven, the Angels of Destruction are a solitary chapter, best left alone. They still accept mission orders from the Inquisition but they never want any Inquisitorial allies, even refusing to fight when an Inquisitor shows up. They do, however, still report anything they find to the Inquisition, except for information regarding the Fallen.
