As the Angels of Destruction are members of the Unforgiven, there are always a couple of companies looking for the Fallen throughout both known and unknown space. The rest of them is stationed on the feral planet Fimus III in the Segmentum Ultima, near the Dominion of Storms. The surface of this planet is covered in mud. The soil soaks up all water and only the topmost layer of the surface, approximately 2 inches, contains enough water to sink into. Rain constantly pours down upon all life that resides on this desolate planet.

The autochthonous peoples that inhabit Fimus III take shelter in caves that are scattered all over. For nutrition, they cultivate some edible swamp-roots and they breed Murkjumpers. These are mud "swimming" fishes about the size, and as flat as a human hand.

New recruits for the Angels of Destruction are pulled from the populace of Fimus III, as they are naturally hardened. Companies that are hunting the Fallen for many years have also been known to get new recruits from other worlds. This becomes necessary when the company ranks are severely thinned down due to continuous campaigns throughout the Imperium.
