Apothecaries

  Adept

- The Marine is showing great interest and/or knowledge about the well-being of fellow marines’ physical health. They remain at their previous post though they are learning more and more about the mysteries of the Marine’s physiology.

- Their robes are adorned with a helix device over their primary heart

 Apprentice

- The marine has mastered the basics and is ready for a more in-depth and hands-on training. He is removed from his post to begin training in the Apothecarium. During the course of several years, he will learn all the procedures repairing battle wounds and use of the Narthecium and Reductor. On the battlefield, Apprencia act as the Apothecary’s assistants and protects the Apothecary during field surgery.

- They remove their all insignias and replace it with a helix device, this done on both their green armour and robes.

 Apothecary

– The marine shows his mastery knowledge and understanding to his superiors. They in turn reward the marine with the rank of Apothecary and has his armor painted white. They administer medications to all marines to keep their enhanced physiologies stable. They are dispatched to any commander taking the field of battle.

- Apothecaries are rarely out of armour except when it is badly damaged from a battle. When they are out of armor, their robes are pure white with a red helix.

 Company Apothecary

– The Apothecary is given the additional duty of personally overseeing the well-being of an entire company of marines. They perform physical inspections of their charges on a regular basis. The Apothecary may be inducted up to the Deathwing’s Middle Circle (Level 4).

- The Apothecary adds the Company symbol to his armour and robes. Only those Apothecaries inducted into the Deathwing wear bone robes,

  Master Apothecary

– The Master Apothecaries is given the duty of personally overseeing the well-being of the Deathwing and prolonging the suffering of any captured Fallen. They perform physical inspections of their charges on a regular basis. They are brought into the Inner Circle of the Deathwing (Level 3). Master Apothecaries oversee the purity of the gene-seed and monitor the growth of the new organs. Only Master Apothecaries are allowed to perform the surgeries to implant the organs that turns a human into a Space Marine

- The Apothecary can take the field in a special suit of White Terminator armour. They wear a unique badge depicting the Deathwing insignia with the Helix wrapped around the broken blade.

 Grand Master of the Apothecarium

– The most knowledgeable, experienced and wisest of all the Apothecaries, they are typically chosen by their predecessor prior to their death. They oversee all the Apothecaries in the Chapter. They are also entrusted to protect and guard the Chapter’s gene-seed at all costs. They are inducted into the Second Level of the Deathwing.

- The Grand Master replaces any company badges and replaces it with a unique Chapter badge depicting the helix wrapped around the solid blade. The Grand Master typically fights in Terminator Armor. Whenever any gene-seed is transported, the Grand Master and five Masters don Terminator Armor to guard the gene-seed on their voyage.

 Supreme Grand Master

- The highest man in the Chapter Chosen by his predecessor prior to their death, he alone can gain access to Luther's cell. Only the Chief Librarian, Grand Master of the Chaplains and the Supreme Grand Master make up the First Level of the Inner Circle. It is very rare for an Apothecary to become Supreme Grand Master. They tend to be elevated only because they are the only high-ranking marine left.

- The Grand Master removes all ornamentation on his robes and replaces it with the Black Chapter Badge. Only his heraldry on his Right Shoulder Pad and Standard remain. He can be seen on the battlefield by his badges of office - the Sword of Secrets and the Lion Helm.
