Welcome to the Codex Unforgiven. This site is my attempt to create a dedicated archive of articles, stories, news, etc related to the Dark Angels chapter of the Space Marines. It follows in the (Gigantic) footsteps of the Fortress of the Unforgiven, of course, so you may ask why I decided to do it. Well, to put it simply:

  • I started at a time when the Fortress was shutting down, or at least everyone believed it was.
  • I wanted to learn how to make my own website anyway
  • I want to introduce an important difference to the Fortress: this site also has Forums, and all articles can be commented on, improved with suggestions, etc. It is my goal to make this a community, not just a static repository
  • The Bolter & Chainsword forums, the main Dark Angel community forum, has also been down for over a month as I type this.

So, as I said at the start, Welcome. We're still rough around the edges, and there's hardly any content yet, but I hope we can get there with your help. Register on the site, Click the "Discuss this article" link, and say hi. Tell me what you like, what you don't, and let's start building this thing up.

PS - On the "Read More" link I have the current problems with the site and what I'm working on. As people join in and report stuff, I'll add it there, so I can keep a current bug list. Please report what you find!

  • Forums and articles don't have their final "look" yet.
  • There's no content yet! Duh! :)
  • The front page shouldn't split into two columns.
