Hi there.
I've been waiting quite some time to say that here, but it seemed awfully quiet, and I thought I might as well break the silence, if only to reassure Astromarine that people are still coming here.
Dark Angels were the first 40K force I collected, back in the mists of the Rogue Trader days, and they've always held a place in my heart. Joining the worforce got in the way of gaming for a while and I've only recently started getting back in to it, and was studiously avoiding getting a marine force, since just about everyone I know plays marines.
The release of the new Dark Angels codex changed that, and I'm in the process of repainting quite a lot of the old stuff I had the first time around (the old 'Native American' Deathwing minis look weird on their small bases now).
Ravenwing and Deathwing are going to form the initial core of my force (as I don't want to blow a fortune on new minis), but I'm intending to stay with my cherished Unforgiven for a good, long while.
Astromarine, I'm sorry to hear that the site hasn't been receiving the attention it ought. Are you still taking articles? I was considering setting up my own site (Chapter One!) but it seems kind of a waste since you're already hosting a good site. If you're looking for a hand, shout and I might be able to lend some assistance.
