 My 500pt list - 2006/02/27 11:11 Hi guys, as im putting together my new da force i thought i would post my 500pt list to see if there are any problems with it.

HQ

Master - Bolt pistol, Power weapon, Terminator honors, Stubborn
111 Points


Troops

Tactical Squad - 6 normal marines, Vet sgt with bolt pistol, powerfist and stubborn.
(total 7)

175 Points

Tactical Squad - 5 normal marines, sgt with bolter, marine with plasma gun, marine with heavy bolter.
(total 8)
135 Points


Fast Attack

Landspeeder tornado
80 Points

So thats my list at the moment, i hope it should give me enough mobility and be balanced enough to do well yet not be cheesy (yes i know the tornado is pushing that a bit )

It looks like quite a decent list. Not sure I'd change much, thought it's 501 pts at the moment, right? If people let you go over by one, I'd say run that. *Maybe* experiment with the squad special weapons, such as switching the plasma for a flamer on the other squad, etc. After all, one bad dice and it's 5% of your army gone.  Re:My 500pt list - 2006/02/28 16:13 yeah the plasma is a bit dangerous but given that the squad is set for shooting, i dont really want a flamer. I cant see people killing me for being 1 point over, given that there is nothing i can really take off to make it 500. Brother Xeres Signing out

 Re:My 500pt list - 2006/03/01 19:11 Personally I'd take a minor chaplain instead of the master. It will cost you 10 points less and if your attach him to the tac squad, you don't need 'stubborn' on the vet. seargant. For that points you can get an other marine.

 Re:My 500pt list - 2006/03/04 14:50 Im going for a master because ive got a nice coverted model that i can spand 50-60 hours on and tbh i think Chaplains should have jumppacks and be with assault squads to be really effective.

Ill go for a chaplain once the new chaplain with jumppack comes out as thats a nice model to spend some time on. Brother Xeres Signing out
