Ravenheart's Dark Angels - 2006/03/05 19:30 No lectures at university for the next four weeks, so there is plenty time to do some painting. Most of the army is done already, but needs a long overdue update.
I'll post the works here and update form time to time, enjoy.

Re:Ravenheart's Dark Angels - 2006/03/06 11:12 not bad raven, the highlights are a it weak for my taste but they are nice and tidy.

For my highlights i go from scorpion green to snot green to dark angels green but tbh this takes a bloody age to make the blend smooth so i only recommend it for leaders/vet sgts.

Re:Ravenheart's Dark Angels - 2006/03/06 13:55 Nice and smooth, good work! I never thought the lances would look good, but you've made me change my mind. They bret parts?

Yes, the lances are form the Knights of Bretonia sprue.
It has 4 lances and various other goodies to convert your angels with. Especially nice is a winged lion sculpture (you can see one on my GM in the other thread).

Looking forward to it.
I might try to deepen the hightlights with scorpion green in the mean time, let's see how it will look.

Re:Ravenheart's Dark Angels - 2006/03/06 17:22 raven think long and hard about how much time you have . hell it took me about an hour to get just the helmet blends looking right.

Just doing the backpack atm, so far going well. May post up a guide on doing quick and easy highlights for dark angel models (im working out the process atm)

Made some progress with the Vindicator this week. It is not quite finished yet, nevertheless here are some pictures of it. Enjoy.
