 Post your Dark Angels - 2006/02/27 07:56 Hi guys, This section needs a kickstart so i thought i would step in and get you posting your marines that you spent so long painting.

Also i need some insperation while i paint up my marines and spend 4 hours on just the legs getting those green blends perfet :<

 Re:Post your Dark Angels - 2006/02/27 10:10 I'll be postin pictures of my army (hopefully) with my Grand Tournament report (coming next week). Ideally they'll be pictures of my army rampaging to victory against 6 different armies followed by a big pic of me holding some kind of trophie. How do you get your bone color so smooth? Always when I paint bonewhite it has a grainy effect which makes it look pretty bad. Thining paints with water didn't help a lot unfortunately.

 Re:Post your Dark Angels - 2006/03/02 03:40 I paint on a basecoat of bestial brown, then bubonic brown, then go over this with bleached bone. Then I go over the bleached bone with a watered down coat of bleached bone, then highlight the edges in white.

 Re:Post your Dark Angels - 2006/03/04 14:41 Hi guys, a little update on my force, ive almost finished my vet sgt with a powerfist......(at bloody last). He should be done in a few days (only got the backpack and his bolt pistol arm to highlight up).

My god am i getting sick of blending scorpion green to snot green to dark angels green . At least the results so far look nice........ Brother Xeres Signing out
