500pt Combat Patrol - 2007/11/29 08:34
Hi guys,
I've got a 500pt Combat Patrol coming up this weekend, it's against both Eldar and Black Templars opponents with no opportunity to change the list when swapping partners.
It's the new codex, and 4th Ed rules. I was thinking of using the below list - what do you guys reckon to it?
10 Tactical Marines
Alpha Fire Team
- Veteran Sergeant, Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol
- 3 x Bolter Marines
- 1 x Flamer Marine
Beta Fire Team
- 4 x Bolter Marines
- 1 x Missile Launcher
5 Tactical Marines
- Veteran Sergeant, bolter (Maybe the power weapon would belong better here? Melta guns and Flamers are both close ranged assault weapons)
- 3 x Bolter Marines
- 1 x Melta Gun Marine
- Razorback, twin linked heavy bolters
5 Assault Marines
- 1 Veteran Sergeant, bolt pistol, chainsword (Swap for plasma pistol? Power weapon seems overkill)
- 2 x Assault Marines with bolt pistol, chainsword
- 2 x Assault Marines with plasma pistol, chainsword
