 ok league game this evening.. 1250 points - 2006/03/10 09:55 Ok I have a strange thought. I have a league game this evening and I made 2 rather different lists for 1250 points... I play dark angels by the way... These lists are both designed to start with not a dang thing on the table during deployment... no one at the place I play has ever done it and I think it would majorly throw them off (plus it just sounds fun, as in "Ok deploy your army, I'm done")

ok list one is basic troops all either deepstrike or infiltrate.

 Re:ok league game this evening.. 1250 points - 2006/03/10 11:42 Having played elysians for a while I know how much fun you can have with this type of army but it is always a safe bet to try and have some troops on the ground from the start. for this reason I would go with the first list as it has more infultrating presance which wont be ruined if you scatter your deep striking baddly or they all turn up a squad at a time. but that is personal prefrance I suppose and the one game where your army lands at the right time in the right place is a killer

on the first list, that command squad is just stupid, 541 points in a 1250 game, you want just a master and a basic squad in this points size.

also mate, you need to format that list a bit, its really hard to read.

Terminator squads need to be 6 strong they have to take out 4 termys to get them under half strengh.

Here is my 1k balanced list.

your list can't even remotely do that.

I mean realistically I have over 6K points of DA and I could field a standard list if I really wanted to but then that wouldnt be my point.

Its mainly for my entertainment value anyways. no need to get insulting. well I suppose you could.. but either way I really wouldn't care

 Re:ok league game this evening.. 1250 points - 2007/09/09 03:45 well the only thing i noticed was that in the second list, you put doen that the codicer librarian had both honors and the termie armor. if hes got the armor you dont have to add the cost for honors or list honors in the wargear since the termie honor is combined with the armor. in god we trust;all others must pay cash
