A Problem - 2006/02/27 12:26
I've just hit a snag: the "content discussion" part of the forum is supposed to be only for replying to articles that are posted on the site. For example, the Chaplain article. Each article we create on the main site gets a thread in content discussion.
However, I've asked the developers of this forum software, and it's impossible to block the creation of new posts without also blocking replies, which is a pain in the ass.
So, there are two choices: Either I post a sticky thread on each subforum of the "content discussion" section, saying that opening new threads shouldn't be done, or I reorganize the forum itself to remove this "site content only" section.
What do you guys think should be done? Do you think this separation should be made or not?
Thanks
